Aujourd’hui une K7 compilation sortie en 1997 en titre pilote le hit de l’époque «I'll Be Missing You » en hommage au rappeur assassiné The Notorious Big, on est en 1997 après quelques mois de l’assassinat de 2pac c’est le tour de biggie, les 90’s c’était une décennie extrême et très violente en algerie c’est la décennie de la guerre civil ,coté musique c’était hardcore dans presque tous les genres mais surtout le gangsta rap deux cotes(east vs west) qui se faisait la guerre et des paroles du genre « je vais te tuer et violer ta femme » et la perte de  plusieurs artistes assassiner ou suicider,kurt cobain,2pac,biggie,big L …etc, dans cette atmosphère chaotique sort le titre «I'll Be Missing You » peu de temps après l’assassinat de biggie,produit par Puff Daddy il contient un sample du groupe The Police en refrain on trouve Faith Evans la femme de biggie et en backvocals les 112, un titre vibrant et très touchant sur le plan émotionnel, le monde était choqué par la mort de ces deux rappeurs « comment peut-on mourir pour une musique ?? » c’est absurde.

Les autres titres de la K7 sont tous des hits aussi on a « Men In Black » de Will Smith sample de Patrice Rushen «Forget Me Nots »  , « Ya Rayah » de Rachid Taha qui est une reprise du titre original du défunt Dahmane Elharachi malgré que je trouve que ce titre ne devrait pas être dans cette playlist, Mariah Craey avec « Honey » sample « Hey Dj » de World’s Famous Supreme Team.

So today im uploading one of my favorit K7 as u can see on the tracklist is a compilation k7 with many hits, the First hit is the tribute to The Notorious Big «I'll Be Missing You » with Puff Daddy and Faith Evans in chorus and 112 backvocals,the song sampled The Police's hit «Every Breath You Take»,the single came out few months after the biggie's shooting dead in los angeles, the world was shocked shit is real rapper daying for real, how can people can be killed for music it's just music?? we should remerber that the 90's was a very extreme and violent decade, back in the day my country algeria passes in a civil war, in music indutry things was hardcore and rough specially gangsta rap genre were you can hear somthing like «i kill you and rape your wife» and the tensions between east vs west war things get worse ,everybody disses everybody, we lost a lot of artists in algeria for exemple Cheb Hasni killed at age26,Matoub Lounes killed in 1998....., in the us Kurt Cobain presumed suicide, the lost of 2pac,biggie,big L....etc, so the single «I'll Be Missing You » came in this chaotic period it was very deep and very emotional, there's somthing angelic and religious in this title ,the others songs on the k7 are all hits Will Smith's "Man In Black" who sampled Patrice Rushen «Forget Me Nots », Mariah Craey's "Honey" who sampled « Hey Dj » from World’s Famous Supreme Team, personaly i don't feel the song "Ya Rayah" in this tracklist yeah its a big hit back in the day but it's not matching with the others songs like dru hill or shola ama anyway that's a great k7 i hope u enjoy it.
